What a great way to kick off our cruise !   The DANCEFUN PRE-CRUISE is a fun, affordable option for those arriving early.  
You have to go to Galveston to catch the ship anyway, so why not go a day or two early?

Flying in early is actually a great idea to ensure you meet the ship on time.  To fly in the day of embarkation can be risky.
If your plane or shuttle is late or worse it breaks down, and you miss the ship then you will miss a good part of your cruise while trying to catch up with us at the first port. And this is not considering the extra expense to fly to the first port.

The DanceFun Staff and Instructors are arriving early too.  We have put together a Pre-Cruise Package for Friday & Saturday.
In addtion to hotel and shuttle service to and from the ship, we are including an All Day Pass at the Pleasure Pier. Come early to enjoy the Pleasure Pier and dance band, great Southern & Cajun foods, and more --- all at a great price !   
And the options provide shuttle service to Galveston from both Hobby (HOU) and Bush (IAH) Airports.

These Private Shuttle Services are a must if you are arriving one or two days before the cruise because the Cruise Line Shuttle Service is ONLY for the day of Embarkation or Disembarkation (see below)

If you are arriving a day early, we recommend booking a shuttle service provider.

Two have manned locations on site at the Airport, and two do not, but do walk you through by cell phone.

George Bush Airport (IAH) is located approximately 23 miles north of downtown Houston and has been part of the Houston Airport System since 1969. IAD has nonstop service to more than 170 destinations throughout the U.S and internationally, which makes it 3rd in the U.S. for scheduled flights. IAH serves over 42 million passengers each year and offers service to more Mexican destinations than any other U.S. Airport. William P. Hobby Airport (HOU)            42 mi / 60 min to Galveston
Hobby Airport (HOU) is located approximately seven miles south of downtown Houston and has been serving the community for over 60 years. HOU has nonstop service to more than 32 destinations throughout the U.S. on 5 airlines including AirTran, American Airlines, Delta, JetBlue, and Southwest Airlines. HOU serves close to 9 million passengers each year on domestic flights only and is the 43rd busiest airport in the U.S. William P. Hobby airport consists of one Central Concourse terminal spanning 80 acres and has two levels. same day service. But, do be aware it is a first come first served for walk ups - it's always best to call ahead.

How the Service works:
For scheduled guests, Dwayne will take your flight schedule and cell phone number when you book with him. 
He will call you the day prior to travel on your cell (you then have his number) and will also monitor your flight info the day of travel.
Once you pick up your bags at baggage claim, you call him and he then finalizes the schedule to pick you up.

DanceFun Note: This is a service is totally customized to your schedule. Therefore he cannot guarantee if at least 3 or more will be in your car.
If you are flexible as to your wait time at the airport he can many times book three or more in your car to reduce the price to the minimum/person.

PRIVATE RIDE AIRPORT TRANSFERS
The following prices apply to private ride transportation (not shared rides) to/from the airports and either Island Hotels or the Galveston Cruise Terminal. Private rides mean NO WAITING! We will be waiting for you when your flight arrives and within 15 minutes of debarkation from the cruise ships. Airport shuttles are only available for  flights arriving or departing between the hours of 8:00 am and 10:00 pm and require a 24-hour advance notice.

We can assist you in purchasing your flight with Royal Caribbean. In fact if you plan to arrive the "day of the cruise" we recommend booking their Air. Why? Because they have a built in guarantee that if your flight is late, and you miss the ship, they will get you to the next port of call for no extra charge. They even put you up in a hotel overnight if necessary.

With most domestic flights you can find and compare prices on your own if you know where to look.  We can share a couple of things.  If flying from the western states we suggest you check Southwest Airlines and JetBlue websites in addition to other search engines – these are not always in all search engines, espeially Southwest.

When using search engines -
We have found it best to search here, but then try to book directly with the airline for better service.  This is especially true in the case of flight changes, delays, and cancellations – so you don’t get kicked around in these situations.  When push comes to shove, the Airlines treat their direct-booked clients better.
AND -- however you book, we always recommend Travel Insurance !

Royal Caribbean Air Arrangements

If you are flying cross country and arriving the day of the cruise embarkation, we would then suggest you consider the Cruise line air arrangements for 2 reasons.  1. They will guarantee to get you to the ship or the first port of call on their dime.  2.
