Carnival Fun Pass

The Department of Homeland Security requires that Carnival submit detailed guest information prior to sailing. By completing all the information on these forms no later than the day prior to departure, you will be satisfying all important governmental requirements and expediting your check-in process. Check-in is actually much quicker with the "Fun Pass" than previously - no long lines for 90+ minutes to just get onboard.  This means that you can start enjoying your “Fun Ship” cruise that much sooner.

Please have the following information on hand to facilitate the registration process.

  • Personal Information (full name, home address, home phone number, etc.)
  • Citizenship Information (passport data, birth certificate, Permanent Resident Card number, etc.)
  • After Your Cruise Travel Information (returning train # and departure time, returning flight information and fare basis, hotel [if staying in San Diego] and rental car information, etc.)
  • Booking Info (Your booking number, Ship - "Carnival Spirit" and Sail Date - 4/15/2004)

Failure to complete all fields, except those that are optional, will require that you proceed through a full registration process upon arrival at the terminal and may result in additional delays.

Things to remember when filling out you "Fun Pass"

Note 2 Things:

  1. Do not put dashes in your phone number.  When we did this it said “Invalid”
  2. Your Social Security Number IS NOT required to complete this form.

Citizenship Information

Passport may be expired up to 10 years and still be allowed for this process.
If no passport, than a certified copy of your birth certificate is required

Port Cruise Travel Information

This is the required info AFTER your cruise.  Most of us will need to check “Car” or Other”

If you are flying home the day you disembark the ship, you need to check “Flight” and enter the info with connecting flights AND how you get to the Airport.  If you have purchased Carnival Transfers with us OR are using a private party or taxi, be sure to check “Car” and taxi/private pickup. 

 With these 3 sections completed, the final screen should show your name and Fun Pass Status as “Complete”.  If you get an “Incomplete” Status, you need to review your info.

If you continue getting an “Incomplete” Status at the end or need more assistance in filling out the Fun Pass info, Carnival has provided a Help Desk at 1-866-721-3224.  The Desk is open Monday – Friday 9:00 am to 8:00 pm EST, or Saturday 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Once you get a “Complete” Status, just print your Fun Pass and bring it to check-in at the pier along with your cruise documents and a passport or birth certificate.

We strongly suggest that you complete your Carnival Fun Pass at least 3 days prior to sailing
The Fun Pass must be completed by Midnight, April 14th EST to avoiding experiencing delays at check-in.
